Additional Study Information: The CureGN Bone Study is a prospective study that is assessing the effects of 4-types of kidney disease on the skeleton. In order for us to determine the true effect of kidney disease on bone, we need to determine what healthy bone looks for patients who have the same age, race, sex, and body mass index as the patients with kidney disease. We are looking for persons who are interested in learning about their bone health to be part of a healthy reference group that will be used to as part of the CureGN BoneStudy. As part of this reference group, you will have bone imaging tested by a state-of-the-art bone quality scan (high resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography HR-pQCT) at both entry into the study and at 1-year after enrollment. These data will be used to generate normative reference data for the bone quality imaging for the patients with kidney disease.
