Additional Study Information: In the field of rhinology, the safety and efficacy of office-based sinus procedures have increasingly been studied in patients affected by various sinus diseases. Prior studies of patients affected by sinusitis, nasal polyps, sinus mucoceles, and epistaxis treated by in-office procedures have shown high success rates, low complication rates, and high patient satisfaction rates. While in-office sinus procedures have been shown to be safe and effective for various conditions, fewer studies have investigated in-office procedures within specific patient subgroups. Thus, this study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of in-office surgery for sinus procedures in Columbia University Medical Center patients and investigate any potential differences in results between patient subgroups.
