Additional Study Information: Auregen BioTherapeutics is developing an ear replacement program for patients born without ears or with misshapen ears (microtia/anotia). These ears will be created using a combination of the patients own cells as well as a scaffold to add rigidity. As a part of the development program, ears using human cells need to be studied in animals. We are asking that you donate your remaining tissue sample that would otherwise have been discarded to allow these studies to be run. The results of these studies will inform us on the safety of the ears and their potential to be used in humans. Your tissue will not be used for any investigations in humans.
