Additional Study Information:

The BoneGN study will help us learn how bones and muscles are responding to Glomerular Diseases. These conditions may gradually weaken bones and increase the risk of having a fracture (broken bone). In the future, the results can contribute in developing strategies to improve the bone health. About 270 children, adolescents, and adults will take part in this study, including about 135 participants at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC). If you take part in this study, we will test the quality of your bones. We will ask you some questions about your health and diet. You will have two visits for the tests and procedures listed below: - Bone Images - Pregnancy Test - Urine collection - Blood draw - Muscle and Frailty Measures. Visits are completed at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. You will receive compensation up to $120 per study visit. Contact our study team to check if you qualify.
