Dr. DiLorenzo is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He specializes in non-invasive imaging within the division of Pediatric Cardiology.
He received a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and his medical degree from New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY prior to completing his pediatric cardiology fellowship and subspecialty training in non-invasive imaging at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During that time, he received a T32 research training grant and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE) at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. DiLorenzo specializes in non-invasive imaging, including cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. He is also co-director of the Pediatric Comprehensive Marfan Clinic. His research interests include non-invasive markers of right ventricular structure and function in patients with congenital heart disease.
