Marcos Vidal Melo, MD, PhD, an internationally renowned cardiopulmonary scientist and anesthesiologist, has joined the Department of Anesthesiology at Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons as chief of the Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
