We are working with researchers at Columbia University to test whether text messaging can be used effectively to help people with hypertension to control their blood pressure. If you are between the ages of 18 and 85 years and have a cell phone, you may be eligible to participate in this study. The study would involve a telephone call that would last about half an hour. The call will be scheduled at a time that is convenient for you. A researcher at Columbia will send you several text messages while you are on the phone and ask you questions about what you think about the messages. You will receive a cash card for $50 if you are eligible and you complete the study.
