Additional Study Information: You are invited to participate in this research study which aims to evaluate reflex cough in individuals with Parkinsons disease. Many times, people with neurological conditions will develop difficulty coughing and swallowing, which can result in negative health outcomes and decreased quality of life. We still do not fully understand the conditions under which the cough reflex can be hindered, or enhanced. Improving our understanding of this will ultimately help us learn ways to improvethe cough reflex in patient populations. Therefore, we are interested in learning more about the reflex cough in people with Parkinsons disease.
