This study investigates changes in brain responses to visual images presented both frequently and infrequently. 60 adults will be recruited for the study which will take place in a laboratory at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. You will see the visual images on a computer screen and will have to respond with a button press to only one image while not responding to the other. We will record the brain's electrical responses during these tasks using an elastic cap that has attached long wires. These wires end in small metal buttons that read the electric current of the brain. To be able to read the electrical activity we need to put gel in the buttons, therefore, your hair will need to be washed after the experiment to remove the gel. It takes about 30 minutes to place the cap properly on your head, 60 minutes to perform the tasks, and 30 minutes to complete questionnaires about your health habits. You will be compensated for your time.
