Additional Study Information: The Columbia Center for Eating Disorders is an internationally recognized research and treatment program. Our mission is to advance the care of patients through advances in understanding causes and characteristics of eating and weight disorders. Many of our studies need healthy volunteers to provide a comparison group for the individuals with eating or weight disorders. Help us learn by participating in a research study! Our research studies are looking for healthy individuals over 18 years old. Participating in these studies may include (a) questionnaires and interviews, (b) a functional MRI scan (no radiation), and/or (c) a meal in our eating laboratory. For your time and participation in our study, you can earn up to $250. To be eligible for one of our studies, you must be over 18 years old with no history of an eating disorder or other psychiatric illness.
