The goal of this study is to conduct interviews with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) adults ages 40-64 years to explore sources of stress, stress management techniques, and heart disease risk behaviors (such as smoking). We will also identify preferred modalities for a stress management intervention to reduce heart disease risk in LGBTQ adults. Taking part in this study will last approximately 1 hour and includes completing a 10-minute questionnaire and a 45-minute interview via telephone or video-conference with a member of the research staff. Participants will obtain up to $50 for completing all study procedures.
