Additional Study Information: Suffering from hearing voices? Researchers at the New York State Psychiatric Institute are currently seeking participants with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder who are interested in being part of a study investigating Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) as a treatment for hearing voices. You may participate in the study if you are: between the ages of 22 and 55, experiencing hearing voices, and able to come to the New York State Psychiatric Institute over a period of 4 weeks. The study will include clinical interviews, electroencephalography (EEG), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and 10 days rTMS treatment. As a participant you will receive up to $1345 if all elements of the study are completed.
