The main purpose of this study is to collect information on patients undergoing a Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS) procedure. The goal of this study is to collect information about patients undergoing a TIPS and to evaluate the long-term outcomes and complications over a 5-year period. Subjects will be asked to complete four questionnaires and one verbal assessment prior to and after the TIPS procedure. These questionnaires will be administered during subject's routine visits with their treating physicians, which is generally every six months. Subjects will be asked to provide three optional blood samples prior to or during the TIPS procedure, as well as one additional optional blood sample at three different time points after one month, six months, and then 12 months following the TIPS procedure. Subjects will also be asked to provide an optional rectal sample one time only and collected by the TIPS procedure team during the TIPS procedure using a rectal swab kit.
