Additional Study Information: We are seeking insights from a diverse group of community members and leaders, especially African-American and Latino individuals. The primary aim is to understand the factors influencing the decision between the PCI and CABG procedures. Participation will involve a 20-minute survey. Some survey participants might also be invited for a focus group or an interview lasting 60-120 minutes. Thus, the total time commitment can range from 80-140 minutes. If chosen for a focus group, your participation will span 60-90 minutes. We'll explore topics like your initial coronary artery disease diagnosis and whether you were educated about the differences between PCI/stent and bypass surgery/CABG. All focus group participants will receive a $75 gift card as a token of appreciation for their time and travel. While participation in this research is voluntary, the insights gathered will enhance clinical practices and empower underrepresented minorities in their revascularization choices. Eligibility criteria include being 45-75 years of age and identifying as either African American or Latino.
