Sponsor: Columbia Center for Prevention and Treatment of Depression
Enrolling: Male and Female Patients
Study Length: 3 Weeks

Additional Study Information: This is a research study to understand what causes bipolar depression. Particularly, we are looking at the amount of a substance in the brain called neuromelanin that relates to how much signaling is occurring in the dopamine and norepinephrine neurons. If you participate, you will receive an MRI scan of the brain.
