The purpose of this study is to determine if measuring blood levels of proteins called POMC, AgRP, and chromogrannin A (CGA) can be used to diagnose and track tumor growth and recurrence in patients that have ACTH-dependent Cushing's syndrome, non-secreting pituitary tumors, and other neuroendocrine tumors. We invite you to participate if you have: a.) ACTH-dependent Cushings Syndrome, b.) a non-secreting pituitary tumor, c.) a pheochromocytoma, d.) high ACTH levels (hypercorticotropinemia), or e.) other neuroendocrine tumors. Our study procedure involves drawing an extra tube of blood when you are scheduled to follow-up with your doctor at Columbia Medical Center and need to have routine blood labs taken. If you participate, one additional 15cc (1 tablespoon) sample of blood will be collected whenever you have routine blood labs taken. In addition, we will ask you to complete a short questionnaire about your symptoms, mood, and quality of life and may also ask you to complete at-home salivary cortisol tests.
