The purpose of this study is to find out whether a new kind of treatment, called cryoablation or cryosurgery, can be used together with certain kinds of imaging like ultrasound to effectively treat your cancer. Specifically, we are studying how effective cryoablation is in destroying your early stage breast cancer and preventing its recurrence or reappearance in the same breast. Cryoablation is a kind of treatment that uses a hollow, thin tube, called a cryoprobe, to kill your tumor by freezing it. The doctor will insert the cryoprobe like a needle into the tumor, centering the tumor in the middle of the cryoprobe's freeze zone. While the doctor is doing this, he or she is using a device called ultrasound, which bounces sound waves to create an image that the doctor sees on a screen. These ultrasound images will help the doctor to accurately guide the cryoprobe to the correct location of your breast.
